Cardiff Firm Selected to Provide Power for Michael Forever Concert

Cardiff based 11th Hour Events Ltd, a major supplier of technical services and equipment to the event industry has been appointed as an official supplier to the forthcoming Michael Forever Tribute Concert at the Millennium Stadium.

The much anticipated concert features high profile appearances from international celebrities including Jamie Foxx, Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Ne-Yo and the Jackson Brothers as well as home grown talent including JLS, Pixie Lott and Alexandra Burke.

11th Hour Events have been selected to supply power for the lighting, sound, screens, follow spots, and artist Winnebago elements of the event.  This will generate 3 megawatts of power- the equivalent to 30,000 100w lightbulbs, 15 tonnes of cable which equates to 32 kilometres (or a one way trip from Newport to Penarth) and over 500 metres of cable ramp.

The event, which will be broadcast across the world and filmed in 3D, takes place on October 8th 2011.
